Roam and Detect

The Kearny Police Department is committed to helping protect residents who may be at risk of wandering or becoming lost due to autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or similar conditions.

Hudson County offers the Roam and Detect program, which provides eligible residents with access to AngelSense tracking technology at no cost. The program is intended for individuals who are prone to wandering or elopement and may benefit from real-time location assistance and caregiver notifications.

Families and caregivers can learn more about eligibility, program features, and enrollment through the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office and Hudson County Department of Health and Human Services.
